I just dont get why that guy from the paramedics put his face in front of Gaga and then she leaves.

Probably giving her mouth to mouth in real life as she was not breathing. That's the only thing I could think of.

Also does anyone think the ending look on the stretcher is the Joanne era look?? Like the crop top and her hair put back.

i remember she said she used it as a wave to save her father from the pain but in the end it really didn’t do anything. Maybe she saying this is her mentally recovering from the stuff she went through since the Joanne era?

Why is saying she’s sorry at the end/did anyone die?/she didn’t take her pills

Could she have caused that accident? Or am I reaching?

i think she kept on apologizing because she was so upset and worked up, while the paramedics were trying to ask her questions.

i think it’s possible she caused it? if she crashed her bike into the car, and the one car hit the other to try and move out of the way

Also, was the man on the horse Death?? At the end before she wakes up, he points a gun to Gaga

that’s what i was thinking as well! he almost shot her/killed her, before she was revived

I googled "Traditional Armenian Clothing" and the costumes in the video seem to be inspired by that. There is a church like structure in the video but I did not see any crosses. Could it be a reference to Gaga holding on to her faith or going to a comforting place in her time of need?

Update: I searched the web about the symbolism regarding pomegranates and it can stand for fertility, LIFE, beauty, eternal life. In the beginning, there are pomegranates all on the ground from her bike crash, which signifies she is dying

Google the movie The Color of Pomegranates

it’s completely ok! i was definitely jarred by it at 1st, i was expecting robotic visuals and got something completely different!

and if you don’t like the video after rewatching it, that’s ok too! dont let anyone tell you how to feel, it’s subjective!

What do we think about the cultural references (primarily Armenian and Indian) being used to tell her story? I don't think I see it as appropriation but I'm neither Armenian nor Indian so I can't really speak on it. I know Eastern philosophies are more widespread and some people from different countries have different views on what is appropriation and what's not. It doesn't seem that she's using anything in a harmful way but I know it can be a problem when a white individual uses someone else's culture for gain or for THEIR narrative. But also Gaga is smart as f*ck and the director is Indian and it was his concept. It's genius but also scary.

Her intention is to appreciate it, not mock it

No cap.
