I think she said she didn’t have any pain killers. I think that relates to the trauma she experiences and this agony when she doesn’t have access to the antipsychotics she takes. The Edge Of Glory 721 Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 The first scene it's clearly a psychodelic suicide ritual, she's preparing herself for the last moment when everybody is near her and the "Jesus" give to her knifes then she screams - much like the Midsommar movie film. When she's to much high and then she comes down its her mind going through happiness and sadness. She's the central attentions for all the scenes because she envolved everybody on the accident. (Suicide victims put everybody near in pain) The second scene shows the tragedy moment, she tried to kill herself on a bike against a car, who crashes to another and kill another victim. Was Gaga on the bike or was she driving the fancy car? There’s someone else laying next to the shattered bike but no one is really paying attention to them? Damon 10,897 Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 gaga is showing in a fictitious way what an emotional trauma represents, she is dissociating from reality through a fantasy she's generating with things she sees in reality to feel safe also on the armenian part she seems emotion-less which portrays the medication she speaks on the song ... and now i just sit in silence. The car accident + drugs are a 911 metaphor. Taking a lot of drugs is like yin yang. First you have the beauty of the high, then you have the ugly of the fall. This can be compared to her actual drug addiction and her journey through fame. I feel like the plot twist in the end is a rebirth to a new start, possibly her sobriety and new chapter of fame.
