anomdepllume 393 Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 Tarsem directed one of my favorite films of all time (The Fall, which this music video mirrors in a lot of ways), so my expectations were HIGH and I gotta say, I loved it so much even though it definitely wasn't what I was originally expecting. Curious to see how this will tie into the greater Chromatica story but with how much care so much of Chromatica has been given, I bet we'll get a good answer. She is gorgeus, the style is gorgeous, the whole MV is perfection! And all that symbolism... I can see how this is one of her most personal videos, if not the most. I’m not sure what people mean by saying they thought it should be “darker”, the story is very dark, she’s been in a violent accidentC someone seems to have died and everyone is badly hurt. At the end where you get a shitload of references for the hallucination and the whole video was her being between life and death after an accident. Wow. So clever. This was amazing.
