No Floods from her Red and Blue album always makes me think about her journey in life and music and how much she evolved over the years. This one song just has that feeling to me, it's like she sang it to her future self.

She was the perpetrator of her own downfall, as are we all. 

However, her first Grammy performance is a prophecy. She was rejected then returned to superstardom, from the ashes, with Elton John, just as she has in her career

I was curious, too, and I assume it is from this article.

Just did a quick Google and didn't really find anything that telling about Regiani, but I suppose that might be similar to how one would act if trying to keep up appearances.

It mostly just seems like a coincidence to me, unless the other poster was referring to something more.
