Just going to share some interesting numbers :gayhat:

https://www.azcentral.com/story/opinion/op-ed/laurieroberts/2020/09/14/trump-now-trailing-biden-10-points-arizona/5788934002/

Trump’s margin of support among Republicans 55 and older has dropped from 64% in March to 43% in September.

In March, 78% of the state's older Republicans polled supported Trump with 14% favoring Biden. By last week, Trump's support among older Republicans had dropped to 69% while Biden’s support among Republicans 55 and older nearly doubled to 26%.

--Trump trails Biden by 21 points among independents (35%-56%). These are the people who decide Arizona's races, the ones who until recently have kept the state reliably red. Until recently.

--Trump trails Biden among college-educated voters, 38%-57%. No surprises there.

--Trump trails in Maricopa County 41%-53%. This is the state's dominant county, one he won in 2016 and must win again in order to win the state. Unless, that is, he can dominate everywhere else.

--But Trump and Biden are splitting rural Arizona with 48% apiece.

--And Trump is trailing in the Democratic stronghold of Pima County 40%-58%.

--Latinos are breaking for Biden 59%-33%. No surprise there, except, perhaps, in Trump's mind.

Translation: Arizona could well be on track to vote for a Democrat for president for only the second time since 1948

Early voting in Arizona begins on October 7th. Most AZ voters have held on to their ballots until the last possible minute BUT because Trump is playing games with the USPS, voters are planning on sending their ballots early. Which means Trump has all of a few weeks, instead of until Nov 3rd, to turn a 10% deficit into a win. And he just cut all funding to his ads in AZ.

If they both win the states they're leading in now and you give the tight races (where Biden still have the edge) in NC, FL, and PA to Trump, Biden still wins due to AZ having none of his crap :gayhat:

Let's pray, guys, gays, and gals.

I just want the election to HAPPEN!! I’m so anxious about it.

Me too. Especially because we know it's not ending on Nov 3rd :smh: it's going to be an election WEEK, not election day :rip:

Then either we deal with MAGA celebrating for four more years or we deal with three months of hissy fits and election conspiracy theories from Trump.

"They got Muslim Antifa Mexicans to come and rape the mailboxes where people put their corrupt mail in ballots! Millions and millions of fraudulent votes!"

" Not only is Trump losing the all-important battle for independents, the September poll indicates Trump is losing support among older Republicans.

Downplaying a highly contagious virus that is killing older Americans will do that, it seems."

Well done for you, Donnie

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

As much as I don't want to see Biden president... there's no way I could think about it where Trump would be better. So yeah, I guess I'm rooting for Biden now :rip: and I'll delusionally hope he does follow through with some of the peogressive promises he made, and it paves the way for AOC in 2024

I dont think many people here are eager for a president Biden :deadbanana: but there's just too much at risk with a second Trump term. 2 more possible supreme court picks should be enough alone to not vote for him (especially based on his recent short list). That would be completely stacking up the court with hard right conservatives for the next generation and practically be the end to Roe v Wade.
