Now tbh I was fresh out of surgery and taking painkillers and I vaguely remember arranging them by key... trying to create the best flow based on which key the songs were in. So I found the playlist on my Apple Music titled "ARTPOP KEY" and gave it a listen. Please don't ask me about my choices because I have no idea why I did what I did, BUT I'm playing it this morning and I'm only on Fashion! but it's doing something for me, tbh. Here is what I came up with back then: Spoiler 1. Aura 2. Donatella 3. ARTPOP 4. Applause 5. Sexxx Dreams 6. Venus 7. G.U.Y. 8. Fashion! 9. Mary Jane Holland 10. Jewels N' Drugs 11. Gypsy 12. Do What U Want 13. MANiCURE 14. Dope Obviously not taking anything like lyrics into consideration, just based on the key the songs were in (and me in a half-sedated state trying to make sense of it.) It got me wondering if anyone else has done the same but with a different method? Maybe not painkiller induced senseless key matching like I did? lol If you have your own version of how you listen to ARTPOP, the most in-cohesive beautiful mess of a pop album, drop it below. I remember reading a review ages ago that rearranged the ARTPOP track list to make it flow better.
