No. I was seriously surprised. This is eye opening, for me. I just thought people in a city like Miami would be majorly progressive, even the elderly. But, I get your point. It really is insane.

Yup. They absolutely hate anything with even a hint of leftism. It’s the trauma of the Castro regime and the desire to fit in with the rest of the Florida bigots.

Trump can't win without Florida...and North Carolina AND Wisconsin AND Arizona AND Michigan AND Ohio :bear:

Florida is tilted towards Biden. I know I've seen a hell of a lot of Biden ads here and it's sooooo nice :enigma:

Actually, Real Clear Politics recently moved Florida from lean Dem to a toss-up as it's getting a lot more competitive there. The reason Biden was doing better for awhile is because Trump's been losing elderly white people to him on the account his handling of Covid-19.

However, Trump has just recently been gaining more traction among Latinos, as well as African Americans although to a lesser extent. This shift among POC is basically what's keeping Trump in play now as it's helped to offset what he's been losing with the Boomers and elderly whites.

Biden is just doing a lot worse with Latinos unfortunately, worse even than Hillary did. It's quite worrying actually and Dems need to do something.

I would highly recommend looking into this polling as it's not just happening in Florida. Latinos in Florida and Nevada actually have been shifting toward Trump more and more, and RCP shifted Nevada's status recently in Republicans favor as well because of this shift.

That is surprising. :saladga:

It’s cognitively dissonant, but many Cubans fled a socialist dictatorship, so the thought of socialism evokes that memory for them. Trump purposefully conflated Bernie and Castro in a tweet about Florida earlier today for that reason. Shocked me too at first.

Maybe he should spend it in other states? Florida seems to me the hardest battleground state to win for Biden.

I think that’s why Bloom’s hundred mil is going to Florida so that Biden can put other ad money to states especially Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and maybe even Arizona.

I only see one poll that has Trump up and it's within the margin of error  every other Florida poll has Biden leading and the consensus on 270 is still that Florida's tilted towards Biden.

Even Real Clear has Biden several points in the lead still and doing much better than Hillary was in several battle ground states.

It's a shame that Trump is gaining a bit of the black vote though. Just last night he kicked a BLM supporter out of his rally and led the crowd in chanting "all lives matter" :smh:

Regardless, I'm optimistic :vegas: the push here for Biden is REAL :vegas:
