If MCU does it right it could be a huge part for her, especially in a Dark Phoenix or Phoenix 5 storyline. Emma sacrifices herself to save everyone from the dark pheonix at one point. And in another storyline she becomes one of the pheonix 5. Imagine this with better writing in an MCU movie. Also can you imagine if Ariana was Jean Grey. All my gay nerd dreams would come true.
