After the main actress supporting the oppression of Hong Kong, and John Boyega being edited out/smaller in Starwars posters, now this? Boy Disney needs to take some accountability real quick, because this is shameworthy

I understand that they want the money, but this is too much. Yea, censor your movies, if that's the only way in, but dont film next to a concentration camp or work with someone involved in something like this.

Yup. And the fact that the director chose to film in Xinjiang even after we knew about the Uighur concentration camps is extremely concerning. Add this to Liu Yifei and Donnie Yen's comments in support of HK police brutality, and there's no way I would pay a cent to watch this film.

Not good but Disney didn't create the film solely, the director would have had the say in this, it's their artistic vision. No need to cancel Disney, they employ probably hundreds of thousands of people who would feel the impact of said "cancelling".

and as a chinese person I am allowed to say this. I don’t think the movie is as authentic as it was going for, with terrible cgi paper phoenixes, bird sorceresses and bamboo construction sites that look like modern New York

I watched like 24 minutes of it and then I stopped. The action is just so bad and you can clearly tell that all the performers are on wires or something.

I mean, clearly they have to be on wires, but usually movies nowadays do a good job of making the action look realistic. You could tell here that they literally just took the wires out of the shots. 

Like, the beginning with her as a little girl on the roof jumping down? God, I hated that

It's actually horrifying how this has been China's plan all along and that it's actually working. Working VERY well.

I really don't like Trump but this is one thing he has had right -- I'm glad he's been calling China out on their antics and I hope whoever is elected continues that. We can't let them get away with this anymore.

So you're saying we can't hold anyone accountable? 

Comments like this are so frustrating. More sympathy for one of the world's largest corporations than for people being held in CONCENTRATION CAMPS. 

If "canceling" is how we can hold them accountable, let's f*cking do it
