Yup. Police officers in America think they're the judge, jury, and executioner. And we've let them get away with it with bullsh*t policies like qualified immunity.

This has been happening for years. It’s just getting harder to cover up because people have been speaking out. 
this very thing happened to Elijah McClain in 2019 and it wasn’t brought to light until the George Floyd protests began.

Police aren’t trained on different mental illnesses either, so that only makes this situation even more disheartening.
