And I agree it is her worst songs in terms of it's lyrics and how generic it is. However, I think Gaga is doing it intentionally to further her concept of being a manufacturered popstar. She is playing a persona of the objectified and she is doing it in a way that it is mocking her past-self playfully. In A star is Born, "Why did you do that?" Came in right when Ally sells out to become a popstar. That is why she made it so generic to prove said issue, and it works, people are talking about it and criticizing about how bad it is. For plastic doll, it is so obvious. My point is that during her "The Fame" era, her team told her to do all these gimmick of crazy fashion and even personality as an experiment to define a manufactured popstar. Once she is known she showcased on her talent by going into different genres and even acting. I'm in no way saying that earlier eras or it's predecessors is generic, I'm just saying that her as a whole is a concept and that everything she does is for something. I just really don't understand how this site doesn't like it. It's such a BOP. The instrumental, powerful vocals, BPMs. UGH! It's everything I've ever wanted her to do.
