Twenty years ago today, Britney Spears Performed at the 2000 VMA's. After sneaking behind her management a more sexual outfit change than originally expected, Britney finally started putting full force behind her want to be seen as a more mature artist. Britney gave one the strongest  and mosr scandalousperformances of her career yet. The public was divided over her outfit due to the "teen pop girl next door" image that she had. She also narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction, thanks to a wide shot by the camera and quick thinking.

It is indeed crazy the amount of stage presence, like she went up there and make it seem so smooth and outrageous at the same time. At the end its like an explosion, she was like dancing dynamite. Amazing. How lucky those ones that experienced her. I want her to comeback!!!
