The costumes were on ****ing point, the set and lighting were on point, literally everything was on point. Gaga's finally at the place in her career where she may look messy on stage but everyone around her looks well put together and coordinated. Nicola did a great job organizing the outfits and designing the stage. She literally took us back to the 90's and you wanna complain about the outfits being messy and having no focus. I'd love to see you put on some extra avant garde performance in the middle of a pandemic. The fact that the all important "Gaga" is gone and she's just focusing on delivering completely executed references and routines is one of the most refreshing changes ever in her career. The vast majority of people think that the performance was excellent so you can seethe. And you are well within your right to feel that way . I never wrote thay my feelings were 100 percent accurate and i never said i wouldn't change my mind so dont come at me with " id like to see you deliver a performance like that "

But you still have no idea how much or how hard she rehearses for this stuff so as a 100% completely uninformed party I don’t think you should comment on it. When you literally don’t know anything about it. Again it’s fine to have an opinion about lighting but to literally be like “I don’t think she rehearses enough” questions her work ethic and I think that’s absolutely insane, when again, you don’t know literally anything about her schedule Agreed exspecially because we all know that gaga is a superhard worker
Economy 48,256
I just wasn't impressed with the vocals knowing what she's capable of tbh but I think as a whole the performance was phenomenal
MOT 2,802
I agree it wasn't her best, but I still thought it was a great performance. The whole show was compromised by the restrictions. We were lucky to be getting anything.

Personally, I loved it, especially the Stupid Love part. Billboard Awards are coming, and I hope she's made a lot of beautiful things for the Chromatica Ball. Girl you have to stop believing these twitter insiders. Of course they said that, because everything they said was wrong Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

Also I think another problem stems from the fact her team consists of people she’s friends with. And if she were to hire more... “professional” people I feel like her craft would be more elevated. Personally I thought the performance was great I had no complaints, to me she performed amazing and her stage presence was captivating but I respect your opinion. Her stage presence saved it 1000 percent for me. But if another female artist served exactly that set i would not be impressed
flyaway 15,350
Well, I will politely disgree with you as many of these statements seem to be assumptions more than facts based on certain things on the performance. First of all, people seem to forget we are STILL in the middle of a pandemic. I know you'll say " Hey, that's not an excuse". But you simply cannot expect these shows to be perfect 'cause it's really hard to make it happen given these conditions. Second, this is a dance album. It's really hard to sing and dance at the same time. Most artists who do both choose to have a recording and lipsync to it (MJ, Madonna or even Beyoncé). That's the way they have had those impeccable performances. Gaga, on the other side, chooses to do both at the same time. Therefore, her performance won't be as flawless or as perfect as people would expect. It will sound shaky, or out of breath sometimes. I won't judge that choice as she's the one in charge. But she does it so good anyway. And her not dancing perfectly...Well, she's not the best dancer. She is a singer songwriter first as she's always said. While I don't consider this performance to be one of her best, I do think she did a pretty solid job given the circumstances. I do miss her theatrical outcome, as it's been quite some time since she's done something like that. But this was a good performance. I respect your opinion, but to say she doesn't rehearse enough is simply not true. She still does her job.

If she had done an acoustic performance over zoom with her pajamas, then you would’ve bashed her even more and we’d gotten dozens of negative threads. But no, she performed her a$$ off, and did all that while wearing a mask and having fibro, most of you wouldn’t be able to pull a performance like that off even with half a year of rehearsing. You don’t know what goes on behind closed doors and how much time they had to plan all of it. Im sure gaga isnt expecting all her fans to love every single performance she gives. And i considered her health restrictions in my post i wonder why everyone is ignoring that part.
petty 9,412
i'd like to see dula peep, miley, taylor swift, ariana, kkkamila kkkabello, selena, halsey, demi, etc get up on that stage and serve the same level. they won't because they CAN'T. gaga's "mediocre" to you cant even be achieved by other pop stars. there's maybe about 3 popstars left who actually focus on giving a show and theatrics and gaga is one of them. the girls don't compare where they can't compete so there's truly no mistakes to be made when it comes to the queen. the only person doing it like gaga in 2020 is Beyonce and that's on the periodic table. Big Reputation 799
I agree! It felt kinda empty to me in terms of the space they had. I think ari was amazing as always and Gaga had some good vocals too but I expect that honestly haha. I think it was a decent first performance for the Chromatica era and I’m excited to see where it goes from there. Was I hoping for something a bit more memorable? Yes, but it served it’s purpose as an introduction When it’s dark outside you’re always the light
