Obviously it’s a super stupid move to release and promote a song of the same name on this date as others above have stated. /thread.

How do you think they react to it? It's been talked about less in the past few years, but it's still a somber day of reflection. It was a horrific and traumatic day for anyone who was around to witness it. That doesn't just go away. These cutesy "what's the big deal" threads are ignorant and pointless. Like I said, Google it. Does no one release that day or what's the deal? I know what the date is ofc, but why is there such a fuss about releasing that day. 9/11 2001

I can only assume how they react, hence why I'm asking Also, the point of yhe thread was music-wise, that event and music are 2 different things and I was, again, ASKING, why would it be a problem, clearly wanting to be enlightened and educated, but someone wants to be holier-than-thou

You got an answer. You can easily find what albums are being released on September 11th of this year with a quick search. It's clearly not a "huge deal" to do so. Releasing a song that shares the name of a national tragedy, on that day, however, is idiotic. 4 minutes ago, Quenty said: That wasn't very nice Neither was choosing to post this thread. i don't remember ARTPOP

Any controversy of 911 released that day would be just because of the name (even tho we know full well the song has nothing to do with it and would be just a coincidence but those twitter SJWs need something to reach and drag to keep them busy since they got nothing better to do) For other people it's just another Friday release date and doesn't matter

It would be totally inappropriate and irresponsible for Gaga to do this, especially being a New Yorker herself. i don't remember ARTPOP
