Except, we don't know about that. Let's not get ahead of ourselves because this is a celebrity and assume things we can't possibly know from a bad picture. There's an unhealthy feeling of people smelling blood and immediately imagining the worst because everyone's obsessed with drama... I'm pretty sure Rihanna is fine and doesn't need people to feel sorry for her.
