2School4Cool 6,282 Posted September 5, 2020 Share Posted September 5, 2020 I have no idea if this is real or not, but as for the production, I think the reason some cool instrumentals are quieter or pushed back on the album versions is for the flow of the song. If the verse is too loud then the chorus won’t kick in the same way, it won’t feel like the chorus lifts at all, you need quieter and louder moments (or gentler and heavier moments) to keep the song from sounding too stagnant.
