So How could Rihanna not do that when she released one record per year for 7 years uninterrupted. (5 years internationally) I can't explain myself. So, Why the public didn't get tired of her during that time? Note: I don't want to hate on riri, i like her but I want to know what she could have done? You can bop to her songs and move on. Gaga and Katy were always much more visual and tabloids, news, etc. would be filled with them. The public got tired of her weirdness, the shocking outfits, crazy performances, her overall image became too much. It was great at first because she was new but then people just thought she was an attention freak with no talent, hence the necessity of C2C, Joanne, and ASIB. Gaga was always viewed as "the weird one" and she never made conventional pop music, nor was she interested in the "sex sells" part of the industry. I remember with Rated R and with Anti the GP reacted similarly to how they received ARTPOP with Gaga. She got a lot of crap from the GP during the Chr*s Br*wn era as well. Black pop girls are automatically cooler than white pop girls (Beyoncé, Megan, etc.). She also has that bad ass quality while the other girls seem try-hard.
