Axios: “The Red Mirage” could serve most toxic US Election in history

Y’all I just saw this video and got real shook.

So ykno bc of the pandemic everyone who’s smart is trynna vote by mail so they don’t get sick. Well. Historically, registered Democrats vote more by mail than the Republicans do, and it’s expected to heavily mess up the optics of the election. 

Basically, on Election night (Nov 3rd), the optics and cable news would show Trump could winning in a landslide, but as it naturally takes longer to count mail in votes, a few days later - week later, Biden could pull it off. This is what they call the Red Mirage.

“Who cares if the facts bare themselves out in the end?” you might ask. Well. America is in a post fact era rn, and Trump stans will LOSE it when they feel like the election is being taken away from them. Trump has been trying to de-legitimize US mail voting for forever now, and will most likely pull some BS on the official day and it’s gonna be hell. 

So basically (if this happens) light your Alejandro candles each day from November 2nd to 10th bc it’ll be a SLOW overtake of Trump if that actually happens. Get ready for the Iowa Caucus: The Re-Up. Trump will totally pull a Buttigeig. Here’s a vid by Axios about it w more detail:

Interesting... I remember Hillary's popular vote advantage growing bigger and bigger as the days passed so this makes sense specially with the current situation.

imagine days of praying for a biden win only to barely end up losing to trump

i anxiously await the election tbh. should trump lose, i don't see him going quietly, so whether he wins or he loses, in the end, **** will be going down in some fashion is my prediction 

to expand a little bit more on what i think will happen:

i think trump will either legitimately win (perhaps though the electoral college), or he will lose and not leave (he's gonna call it rigged or somehow cheat the system using this red mirage excuse or whatever idk i can't predict how).

I feel ya, and I am not even from the US. The entire world wants this to be over. The world has destabilized tremendously because of everything that is going on there, and the Politicians who get a platform because of this complete and utter disaster of an example the US has set.

Wasn't it Bernie Sander's that called into question the pre-set rules of an election and demanded to be named an illegitimate victor? 

That's a dangerous precedent to set. What if Trump pulls the same stunt?

Yea this upconing Election Night will be one for the ages: I dont think I'll be able to sleep. My fear is that several swing states will show Trump leading and instead of WAITING for the results to be official, Trump will just declare himself the victor - complete with a parade and fireworks. Then a few nights later, Biden wins a good portion of the swing states, enough to clinch the Presidency. But at that point, Trump and his base will say the election was "stolen" from them.. and I'm afraid of what happens after that. I just hope Democrats do NOT CAVE IN and give up to Trump. Stay relentless and dont let them steal this election.

With all thats going on with postal ballots, voter suppression (and no doubt many recounts and court battles), I don't expect a winner to be announced until late on November 4th or early Nov 5th rather than in early hours of morning post-election day.

Also this is why Trump and his goons have been spreading propaganda about how "unfair" mail in voting is so they can plant the seeds of doubt in their supporters and convince them that the election was "stolen" from them. I just hope they don't resort to violence or try to stop mail in ballots from being counted. 

They will try anything to stop a fair election from proceeding. I would not be surprised if this makes its way to the Supreme Court. 

God I hate this administration so much.
