I don't know why people are so hung up on the supposed mic in the mask. Even if this was the case, it doesn't change the fact that she clearly couldn't project her voice properly and it did sound kind of muffled over all.

Are you sure it wasn't your speakers, hun? She sounded flawless and I'm glad she did the respectful thing and wore a mask. Idk why yall are even giving these people the time of day. Gaga has proven millions of times her vocal prowess throughout the past decade; in addition to her stance on live performances. This Georgina lady is just an ugly troll desperate for attention because her brain cannot compute how talented our Queen is. If she had done a modicum of research she would know that it was not lip synced.

Georgina loves Gaga. She was just puzzled. I was too when it first aired. It’s because it was filmed more than once and put together. Some cuts are off and don’t flow well, so it shows that the audio and video aren’t one in the same

no doubt it was sang live, but she sang it more than once and it was edited together (not very well, but that’s not gaga’s team’s fault that’s mtv)

But i only realized this after watching it over and over.

She really said she was disappointed and expected more when the performance had a live band, and tons of dancers making it look like it wasn't done in the middle of a pandemic. A PANDEMIC.

I didn't know the mic was in the mask. That's so cool and innovative. 

I'm assuming we should expect the masks to be a part of the outfits at The Chromatica Ball and I think I'm fine with that because they really match the fashion of this era.

I dont get why this is causing debate. It was a pre recorded performance and several times Gagas microphone was miles away from her her mouth.

@KatieJudasGaga4 Had a chat with the person who made the mask and proved that there was indeed a microphone inside of the mask. So do your research before saying things without a source.

Put your hand over you mouth, does it sound the same when you speak as when you don't have it? The vocal coach is more believable when she says Gaga lifted her head there is a cut out for her hand mic to pick up the sound. 

Again I am not saying Gaga didn't sing live. Just that it's next to impossible for her to sound that good with a microphone in an enclosed tiny space of a mask.   I would believe more the there is some sort of hidden microphone on her chest area like Broadway uses that would pic up the sound from the opening in her mask. But why do that when you are holding a hand mic.

Who cares where the mic was or if they were live vocals or anything? It wasn't a traditional performance anyway so....
