On a serious note, is there any chance, ANY chance, that they weren't actually physically together, and Gaga just said a couple of words to an empty space to make it look as if they were beside each other ? There is zero connection between them throughout the song, and the one time their paths cross at 4.06, it looks to me as if Gaga's image is sort of superimposed.
