Is 911 sung live?

I think it's pretty evident that Rain On Me and Stupid Love were sung live, you can hear the breaths and the parts where Gaga stopped singing were also consistent with the vocals we heard.

But in 911, at 1:30, is it possible to do the hair flip while singing that line? At 1:43 when she's thrusting her hips, it also seems extraordinarily smooth? But then I can also hear her breaths.

I mean if she truly performed all three songs live with those vocals, I am in awe.

Maybe its dubbed or different footage from multiple recorded performances were used. On Stupid Love, to me, it looks like different footage were used, especially around (7:23).

I think its all live though

With enough practice it actually is possible, and with falsetto especially cause it's already a slightly tighter throat to get that sound, which would happen when making a hair flip like that, so I think it could even push more air out to get the sound out more, which would indeed be possible to do that live :vegas:

Spoiler

Inb4 after all that she lip synced it :billie:

I think the whole thing (or most of it) was pre-recorded vocals or vocals from other filmed takes because at some points the mic gets really far away from her face but she still sounds loud. Many artists did that if I'm not msitaken, including Miley. It helps them get the choreo and performance correctly without having to worry  about losing their vocals in the process.

Yes she was hanging her arms open and then suddenly she's hugging herself. You're right about that possibility.

I think the mask had a mic in it & the handheld was a prop

Oh that would actually make a LOT of sense! :enigma:

On ROM too, Ari's mask things that hold it to her ears change between shots

Still some of her choreo moves and vocals produced seemed almost impossible to do together.

I think so too. Like what they did with Ally's pre-popstar performances on ASIB. They're all live vocals from different takes.

Yes I noticed that about many artists but I dont think it's because it's impossible to sing those lines live while performing those choreo, since it's possible to render them on a live stage.

I think @KatieJudasGaga4's explanation is the most plausible, they wanna make sure they have the best footage so they took multiple takes that are not necessarily completely in sync with one another.
