This probably means that the performance is broadcast live from Brooklyn. He was also seen wearing the 'VMA Crew' cap. I do however want Gaga to stay safe so I kinda wish she'd stayed at home and done a green screen performance. I'm glad she's willing to do everything for this performance. We don't deserve her.
