SeIena Gomez 1,609
It's been six years since Katy Perry did the Super Bowl. She's been mostly quiet, with a few side projects here and there. Suddenly, she announces there's a new project in the work. She officially reveals the title, "SAD SMILE". The idea behind this concept is basically if Katy Perry had never released Witness or Smile or any of the droplets and kept them for her next big release. Heres the tracklist and single choices for the era: WITNESS ROULETTE TEARY EYES DEJA VU HARLEYS IN HAWAII POWER CHAINED TO THE RHYTHM FT. RIHANNA CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS TSUNAMI NEVER REALLY OVER BON APPETIT FT. ARIANA GRANDE Bonus Tracks: TUCKED SMILE Singles: - Champagne Problems (LEAD) really good high budget MV, get people talking and tease AG and Riri - Never Really Over released 6 weeks after Champagne Problems, released same day as album - Bon Appetit FT. Ariana Grande single and video comes out 5 weeks after album Promo Singles: - Chained To The Rhythm FT. Rihanna week after Champagne Problems - released with a MV - Teary Eyes cool performance video and lyric video, released same day as album & NRO Thoughts? I really think Katy should have gone on a long hiatus and came back with a bang. Would have been so much more iconic and I think the songs I chose are some of the more mature ones Katy has released recently.
NFRatwell 23,290
So less music, less music videos, and less promo since it’s one album for the sake of commercial sucess? uhh... I’m here for the Rihanna and Ariana collabs though
Xoxo Adriana 15,040
Bon Appetit ft Ariana Grande the version we ASKED for but instead got a blasphemous and homophobic hip hop group imagine the level of gay this single would’ve served if it featured Ariana tho. Katy said the song is about “sexual liberation/female empowerment”, so having a female artist feature (Ariana) would’ve suited better.
