Bonkers 28,940 Posted August 25, 2020 Share Posted August 25, 2020 My Gaga story: I was on Youtube in 2009 and there was clip of her performance of Just Dance on "So You Think You Can Dance" I thought that it was some act from the 80's (I thought Gaga was about 50, lol) and I was like, "why don't we have stuff like this anymore? There was so much of this back then that I've never even heard of this lady." I thought she was like another Blondie. After I watched it, I googled her and found out she was actually very young and very ambitious. Within 30 minutes of watching clips and interviews I declared, "oh my god, this is the new Madonna" (I now wish I had phrased it differently, but I KNEW from DAY ONE she was going to *IT* and have been proven right every day since then.) Lady Gaga seems pretty good. But PF is what REALLY sealed the deal, especially seeing her perform it live on American Idol.
