Can we also acknowledge her iconic acting performance in Queen of the Damned?!

Let’s not forget, if memory serves correctly, she was also supposed to be the original Zee in Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. I believe she had started filming for Reloaded and then when she passed away they cast Nona Gaye for the role.

I miss her :bradley: unpopular opinion, if she was still alive she would’ve given Beyoncé a run for her money. That’s coming from a BeyHive member.

Queen of all Vampires, Akasha. Frozen in stone and awakened by Lestat's insatiable thirst.

I loved this book series, but I stopped at Memnock the Devil. I don't know why? The books are always better than the movies.

Many music publications pointed how FKA twigs (one of the most acclaimed female singers of today and actually one of my faves) was inspired by Aaliyah. Both used Egyptian imagery, both sing in higher falsettos and have similar auras in a way.

It's most obvious in FKA twigs' video for Two Weeks:

I don't know much about Aaliyah as they don't talk much about her in Europe where I live but I can recognize her impact based on this.

LaLuna

Loved her so much. "Aaliyah" is one of the best R&B albums of all time IMO. She was on the verge of becoming a huge superstar, I always thought she would've been bigger than Beyoncé had she lived.

I'd rather forget Age Ain't Nothing But a Number exists though :bear:
