Seeing how cheap the design and quality looks in real life for example this umbrella that costs 80$, these caps for over 40$ or jockstrap with uneven prints still costing 26$ is - I‘m sorry - ridiculous. Impudent to be honest. These products are most likely produced in overexploited countries with horrendous working conditions / no transparency if there are underage workers, just to keep the production costs as low as possible so these merch companies can milk the **** out of the cashcow. And too many fans throw their money out just so they have something „from“ Gaga that makes them happy. I don‘t blame them but the people having the guts to demand so much money for such little quality who are asking for this cashgrab are the ones who should be made responsible. And yes, Gaga has responsibility too. She is the face of her merch and the reason why people buy it afterall. If she really wanted to she could find a merch company that has ethnic- and planet-friendly standards producing quality products. But she never did. On the other hand fans never really demanded something else and still keep buying her products so if you really want quality merch then put pressure on the people who are responsible for this.
