Its transparent if not used, but when people pull the door knob the censor will go off and the box will blur and people wouldn't be able to see them from outside. But I guess it is not necessary and it's all for show. Its still innovative nonetheless tho I might say

I'd for sure use it lol esp if I really needed a bathroom. I think it's a good idea as long as the technology works.

I like it. Except, I would like the opaque-ness to be visibly opaque from inside, so you know it is working when you turn the lock. But if I didn't know the trick, would probably just assume that it is "art", not an actual functioning toilet.

This isn't a new technology. It's always seemed... curious to me, but after reading this it's actually pretty smart.

Because if there's someone inside and it's not locked... you can see them... and if it's opaque, it means it's in use and it's locked

I was asking the user I quoted that was saying that they could have just used a red sign
