Also given the fact that they’re not dominant in any category they are in except for tablets and smartwatches. Is it ethical? Probably not but it’s really complicated. Since we are looking at valuation and it’s spread to many shareholders. Them still having hundreds of billions in the bank is still gross. I don’t even think that the company is that happy about it, given the increasing scrutiny they are facing in the regulatory side of things. When Apple’s good they’re really good, but they can be evil sometimes. From not disclosing throttling devices to unreasonable cuts with payments. Idk if you noticed but the government has bombed, shot, arrested, sabotaged and assassinated countless people for trying to make change since pretty much the birth of western civilization. There are literally people being pulled off the street into unmarked vans in the US now for protesting. So you tell me. It‘s like swimming upstream against a strong current. It takes a gargantuan amount of effort to just make a little bit of progress, doesn‘t mean it‘s not worth it. Except in this case the river is hurtling us towards a climate apocalypse.
