Plus she is extremely smart in general, I think she'll do a good job!

It can be learned relatively easily. A solid understanding of how the government works is probably more important for a position like this True. Your right Plus I guess they have helpers to put it together for the technicalities aspect of it
GagaSine 7,464
This is awful imo, she has very close ties with nazis and also has a very weak position re: climate change. https://yasha.substack.com/p/chrystia-freeland-and-canadian-nazi

This seems like a reach A lot of people collaborated out of fear and even if they strongly believed in their collaboration she shouldn't get blamed for what her grandfather did This sounds like cancel culture in politics

He's had the beard for months now and it looks terrible. I actually love beards and facial hair but in his case it just doesn't suit him And U should of seen during the height of Covid when he didn't get a haircut in like forever and looked like he was wearing a mop

She purposefully obsfucated her relatives’ role and has a lot of shady connections. https://yasha.substack.com/p/ba6be7b8-e1f5-4be0-aef3-85cac76fb36f Sorry i’m unable to take this as lightly as you do, my family is from the town where her grandfather published anti Semitic, nazi propaganda which she has denied that he has done. There is literally a graveyard dedicated to Ukrainian Nazis in the town I live in now. I do not think it is okay at all for her to be in the high position she is in, wether she is good at being a politician or not.

But I don't think it's fair to blame someone for what their relatives did that's not her fault And it's not good that she tried to hide it but let's be real, this is exactly the kind of reason she would. Ppl are gonna cast blame as if she was somehow responsible Your using the word "connections" like she's involved or something

If she does not have an agenda she would openly denounce her families actions, but instead she has praised them. i can’t believe you are defending this but agree to disagree on sanity I guess

I don't know enough to say she should or shouldn't be I gave you my impression based on the article u gave me and the information I have so far that I'm not seeing as big a connection as your comment made it sound And I never defended it. I literally just said she shouldn't have covered anything up
