Hyped for this one!! :staymad:

Awkward for Elton as he has kept ignoring Chromatica and naming other albums as “AOTY”:bear:

Exactly! I mean sure, he is being honest to what he prefers but still...He also said in the past that Gaga is wasting her talent and potential on “pop songs”

Its really sad to know how fans are probably bashing her right now

They are selfish and ignorant. As a fibromyalgia sufferer myself i can barely do 4 days of office work before feeling exhausted and in pain. Imagine t he kind of strength it would take to do stadium world tours

I don't know if anybody knows this, but if Gaga does an Apple Music fan event. Where will it be held and how do you go to it?

She said she stopped making music at one point... when was this? We’ve had continuous music for like... ever

She’s talking about when she was 32 and depressed making chromatica she would rather no nothing than tour .... Elton's tour started like 3 years ago

I'm pretty sure she won't do any in-person fan events during the pandemic.

Maybe there will be a virtual event.

I believe she refers to the middle of 2013

I liked this interview. I think hearing Elton's side of why it didn't come out paints a really nice picture for how it ended up on the album in the first place.

I would love to hear more of them talking in this setting.

Elton did not seem to praise Chromatica as much as he does other albums.  I think he actually said it was "a grower" or something, which implies  it took a while to like it.  I'm maybe reading too much into it but it seemed disappointing to hear that he wasn't all in with the praise.

I mean, it could really just not be his thing. He's expressed before that he doesn't really like electronic music (even Gaga's). He's *very* classic so I think something like Chromatica with as much house influence as it has, won't appeal much to him nor would he know how to speak on it. It came to being in the 90s. He was already 20 some odd years into his career by then. Pop in the 80s and 2000s (since it's inspired by 80s) vein he gets (hence why he likes Sawayama, I imagine), but 90s is a bit of an anomaly especially the sort she pulled from this time around.

That makes sense. He was very supportive of her individually and I’m glad he’s at least being “authentic” and not saying stuff he doesn’t  mean. He also said his favourite song was 1000 Doves which is least “housey” of the songs on the album so you’re probably on to something.

Omg I loved this one definitely my fave episode of the 3! They're so cute with one another.

Also, TASTE with Elton loving 1000 Doves so much! Legends supporting legends.

Yeah I think he understands that he might have his own thoughts on what she should do but that she’s her own artist and needs to follow her instincts. I think he admires that more tbh
