EuphoricVibez 9
It's definitely a heartbreaking song, and I relate to it so much. Antidepressants are my 911's, and every time I take them, I just get numb, and tune out everyone, and everything around me. The vocals/lyrics shatter me when I hear them too, but I just can't stop listening to 911. He/him/his

And I get what she's trying to do with it (verses + pre chorus are very agressive and intense), and it all builds up to that "monotonous" chorus to "mimick" the idea of being lazy and fed up and to fall back into that "depression"/negative space HOWEVER, sonically it just annoys me tbh and it is the only reason I dont listen to 911 that much anymore even though the verses are GREAT. And the pre chorus is probably one of my favs she's ever done (I cant see me cry,....) I just wish the chorus was a huge beat dark beat drop (in the veins of Bad Guy) Edit: I actually wantes to make an edit of 911 with a nice dark drop in the chorus to see what it would sound like. Now, I'm not a dj or anything lol but lmk if you want me to tag you once I post it here on GGD I’d love to hear what you have in mind - count me in for a tag! Putang Ina Mo 2,113
Actually, yes. I took antidepressants for my depression a few years ago and now, mood stabilizers for my bipolar disorder prescribed to me by my psychiatrist. All these years of taking medications for my mental health has truly effed me up that sometimes costs my relationship to people. When Gaga sang "Keep repeating self-hating phrases // I have heard enough of these voices // Almost like I have no choice // This is biological stasis // My mood's shifting to manic places // Wish I laughed and kept the good friendships // Watch life, here I go again" it really gave me the feels. So yes, 911 made me emotional. my username says it all 🇵🇭

HausOfAntonio 8,021
100%. Especially living with mental illness, 911 and Replay hit REALLY hard. You can hear the hurt in her voice even through the effects.

Werewoof 2,460
I do, but mostly because I have personal connections with it. Spoiler I know this isn't really necessary to share, but I have a family member is a pill addict. I also have anxiety and take pills for it, so in a way I get nervous I will turn into her. But yet, I need those pills. So the song hits me hard.
MonsterfromVietnam 70
Yes, I do. The melody and her robotic tone are so catchy but when I understand the lyrics, it turns into depressing. Especially the part "please patch the line", it sounds like she is too weak to carry on and desperately begging for help but know that noone will come. It's broken.
