Bruce Springsteen calls Lana Del Rey 'one of the best songwriters'

Music legend Bruce Springsteen has heaped praise upon singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey in his popular DJ series From My Home To Yours on SiriusXM, declaring that the 35-year-old is one of the “best songwriters” in the country.

Throughout lockdown, Springsteen has utilised his extra time by delighting fans as he plays records from his own personal collection and shares his thoughts on the tracks while relating them to his own experiences.

He gave insight into the shared connection between himself and Del Rey, saying they both hold a fondness for Lake Placid, New York.

“Lana is simply one of the best songwriters in the country, as we speak. She just creates a world of her own and invites you in. So a big favourite of mine, the lovely Lana Del Rey.”
