Ranking the whole Chromatica Era

1. The "Stupid Love" leak - 9/10, LOVED it on first listen.

2. Stupid Love - 10/10, still one of my fave Chromatica songs! 

3. "Babylon (Early Version)" chorus leak - 10/10, not gonna lie it took me about 2 listens but I got to the place that I needed to be in mentally to really LIVE for this!!!

4. "Free Woman" leak - 6/10, the demo just doesn't really cut it much for me, and when I heard the LQ quality snippet we got I almost didn't even think it was Gaga for a second on the prechorus cause it just sounded like someone else that sounded like her with a bunch of melodyned harmonies  But the final version really paid off, I love that one now! 

5. "Rain On Me" (Final Version Chorus + Demo leaks) - 7/10, I was excited to see what the actual songs were like, this was the kind of songs I NEEDED! I remember literally singing "I'm na na na Downpour n-na na na naAH! Rain on me! Me me! Rain on me! Me me!" all over the house 

6. "Rain On Me" - Ok, so when it first came out I was still like "Mmmm... well let me give this some time" and it actually grew. on. me. a LOT over time, especially these last couple of weeks, I LOVE the chorus and the whole song in general! 

7. Alice - 8.5/10, I was in the car with my dad and we were going to the store for the first time in forever, and we forgot our masks so we had to turn around, but when that first chorus started I was like "WOAH " and my dad was like freaking out because we couldn't find our masks in the car and he was like "Hello?? Hello?" and I just sat there like: 

 

8. "Free Woman" Final version - 9/10 I LOVED this SO much more than the demo, the last chorus buildup and the "I'M A FREE WOMAAAAAAN!" was SOOO satisfying!!! 

9. Fun Tonight - 9/10, I was excepting this song to be kind of sad from the way she described it on the radio interview with Zayne, but wow, that was super unexpected 

10. 911 - 11/10, BEST song on the album!!! You can't tell me otherwise, I loved it the first time I heard it and it's now just legendary!!! 

11. Plastic Doll - 4/10, not my favorite 

12. Sour Candy - 9/10, this one had to grow on me, but now it's one of my faves  I happy skip Plastic Doll to get to it after 911 

13. Enigma - 8/10, it's a good song when I turn it on, but I'm never really much in the mood for it 

14. Replay - 8/10, this one was one of my favorites on first listen, but now I'm just never really much in the mood to hear it 

15. Sine From Above - 9.5/10, this is one of my go-to songs right now, I LOVE it! 

16. 1000 Doves - 7.5/10, I like it 

17. Babylon - 8/10, this version is ok, but I LOVE the Early Version much better 

18. Love Me Right - 7/10, it's a good song 

19. 1000 Doves (Piano Demo) - 6/10, I prefer the final version  

20. Stupid Love (Something remix) - 2/10, no thank you, control alt delete.

21. Stupid Love (Japan Exclusive Remix) - 6/10 MUCH better than the one above.

22. Rain On Me (Remix #1) 3/10, eh.

23. Rain On Me (Better remix #2 that sounds like Don't Start Now) - 6.5/10 YES! 

 

Well that's my current rating of the entire Chromatica Era so far, what do you think?

Imo we had blast when SL and the tour was announced and the release week of Chromatica. Everything else has been snoozefest and a complete non-event.

The entire era I would rank a solid 8/10 because even with COVID and lost of interest. The music, singles, and visuals were still amazing. We were truly in for one of Gaga’s best eras if it went as planned.
