Miley apologizes to Dua Lipa for scrapping her album

i knew that Miley evolves fast and at the next era regrets the last records she's made, but this time she evolved so fast that we didn't even have the chance to hear it.

Would it hurt too much if you release it like a side proyect, with no promo just a gift for the fans

That bit where she brought up that Dua might have thought that she was plotting to sabotage her by playing her a fake record...nobody accused you of that, Miley. She really embarrassed herself by proceeding to claim that Dua might think she was deliberately playing her bad music to make her think she had no competition and then releasing a different album full of mainstream hits. That makes Miley look too cocky and makes her look like she views Dua as competitive and fake. It's a big case of "the lady doth protest too much."

I just don't know where Miley's at with her career right now. She delayed her EPs and subsequent album by over a year as she was going through personal problems, comes back with a great song and now claims that she's never going to release the planned remaining 2 EPs and there's going to be no album. If there's anyone she's sabotaging, it's herself. I don't get why some artists do this. She's been needing a proper comeback for years. After the big success of Bangerz, she had an experimental album that produced no hits with no proper tour and the poorly recieved Younger Now that only produced one hit which is now totally forgotten about, only had 2 singles and she didn't tour. And she was very vocal about how mad she was that that era went so badly. So I don't know what she's doing holding off on albums and making false promises. She may be happy just releasing singles but her label sure won't. And I thought someone like her would have loved the thought of touring and would love any excuse to do it.

Why did she make this sound so dramatic  Girl...you just scrapped an albums worth of stuff and weirdly told Dua that it was your upcoming album even though you already knew it likely was not (which is weird but not dramatic or terrible lol). She's making it sound so much deeper than what it is which actually makes the situation now look a bit "suspicious" lmao

Miley had surgery on her vocal chords starting by the end of last year, that's the main reason for the delay in release and promo. Also, Dua and Miley hung out together years back. Even before posting that image.

I was about to say that maybe RCA scrapped the record and Miley was making it seem like it was her decision. But after seeing this video, you can tell it was genuinely Miley's doing.

She wrote the other record almost 2 years ago at this point, still singing about drugs and being rebellious. She's recently said she's been living a sober lifestyle, so it doesn't make sense for her to keep singing about that.

Why did she post photo with Dua Lipa captioned "Dua has heard what you haven’t...." and next day announced Midnight Sky with photo from music video that already was recorded? 
She could not  make it public that she invited Dua to her studio. Did she try to convince Dua Lipa fans to her, hoped that Dua let her hear her Remixes album or what ?
