@Blown Away I don't like this song, but I can't put my finger on it why. It is catchy and the lyrical content is good so I don't understand why I hate it. Yet every time I hear it I can't stand and I switch to another song.

@MingersPrayer An undoubted Madonna classic. Love the vocals and lyrics. Look up the story behind the song on YouTube with Peter Rafelson. Great story. She added the “I’ve got to work much harder...” section - very madonna and perfect for the song. The video is iconic and became a Madonna staple for styling. It’s an amazing song but sometimes a skip for me is it comes in a playlist as it’s production is very dated for the 80s and not something I always wanna listen to.

@Blown Away This is another bonafide classic. It had me hooked from the first time I heard it. I still remember that first time very well, I thought she sang 'Last night I dreamt of some pedo' instead of 'Last night I dreamt of San Pedro'.

@Lionel Ronaldo One of Madonna’s most famous songs. At one time I’ve heard this one too much but I can listen to it again. The warm instrumentals make you feel like you are in a Hispanic country. I love the instrumentals and the rhythm. Very nice song.

@MingersPrayer CLASSIC. The vocal layers are incredible. She obviously loves the song as she does a new rendition with every tour.

@MingersPrayer You’ve got to love Madonna for finding a great track, adding a few words & getting a writing credit. I think this is probably the first example of star power pulling writing credits on pop tracks. Iconic song - long lasting - iconic video - iconic styling. “Italians do it better”. In 2007 I bought a Papa Don’t Preach tee from Urban Outfitters in New York & I was living. Love this song - great vocals & instrumentation. Undoubted top 3 from the album.
