Has Gaga Ever Publicy Stated what the meaning of Telephone is?

Not sure what it’s specifically about. This is what she said in 2011:

““I hate ‘Telephone.’ Is that terrible to say? It’s the song I have the most difficult time listening to,” Gaga said. “Ultimately the mix and the process of getting the production finished was very stressful for me. So when I say it’s my worst song it has nothing to do with the song, just my emotional connection to it.”

She also elaborated:

“I can’t even watch the ‘Telephone’ video, I hate it so much,” she told Time Out London in 2011. “Beyoncé and I are great together, but there are so many f—ing ideas in that video and all I see in that video is my brain throbbing with ideas. I wish I had edited myself a little bit more.””

I know she stated it in interviews and articles, but I meant in a video interview or radio interview where we can hear her say what the meaning is

Oh I don't know about that. But she must have explained that in some interview but no idea when she said this.

Regardless of the why, I had no idea she felt the way she does about Telephone. The way we are twins.

I can't find the interview but she's flip flopped on Telephone so many times over the years. 

She does that with vast majority of her music and albums so when I enjoy hearing the meanings of the songs, her opinions of her work don't always align with how I personally feel about it as a fan and listener. 

She claims there are too many ideas in the Telephone video, yet it's one of the best videos she's ever made objectively. She can't watch the Telephone video, but she made the Million Reasons video. 

Ive always found her opinions on her work to be very interesting.

I kind of want her to make videos reacting to her albums. It would be nice to see how she feels about her older stuff now. It’s an idea that I’ve had in the back of my mind for a while.

I agree however she changes constantly with her opinions. 

A friend of mine did a meet and greet with her for the JWT and she told him back stage how she only recently was able to relisten to the entire BTW album for whatever reason. Changes all the time lol

Probably depends on how she's feeling with life, tbh. Like most people.
