Possibly, or it could have found its way in through shipping crews or perhaps a return traveller had the virus in the them even after they left quarantine. Interestingly, all 4 cases are from within a single family.

Im sure there were still 1.5m social distancing guidelines in place during the 100 days. Next 3 days will be interesting for NZ.. wonder what their tracing will uncover.

Thing is do you really think we could go back to a normal life to save the economy while people's friends and family are dropping like flies? 

I understand the whole lives vs economy debate but like there's no feasible way you are getting the world to do that just to stop an economic crisis

I wouldn't say people get over it "just fine". You can have a mild case and still have lingering long-term symptoms and possibly permanent damage to your body. It effects all major organs, to an extent still unknown. Can't just think of it as something to survive and then you're back to normal. US researchers found that almost 90% of recovered patients still have their symptoms months later.

The economy and public health are not exclusive. You fix the economy by addressing public health. 

Every store can open like nothing's happening but then what? Customers stay away, not enough business you close.  Customers come in, you become a hotspot: Virus spreads to employees--no one comes in to work/ppl quit; virus spreads to community--less customers...you shut down. Back to square one, maybe even worse than before. 

NZ had 102 days of unrestricted living because they did the right things immediately and consistently ( "going hard and early"). It seems that people got complacent and the virus found a host. If they go hard again, and are successful, they could be back to less restrictions in three days.

The cost is three days.
