Canadians Getting Agressive Against Americans Illegally Crossing Border

I live really close to the border (in Canada) and I’ve seen a few vehicles with US license plates, with signs on the car explaining why they are in Canada and to please not harass them or vandalize their vehicle. 

I don’t remember what the signs said but I remember them being valid reasons for being here right now. It’s really sad that some people have had to do this.

There are some fair reasons for Americans coming into Canada, like if they have joint citizenship or something. People need to back off a bit, if you don’t know who the person is and why they are here.

Canadians don't need Americans tainting their culture or society ngl. Canada's very different and have a right to feel at least a little bit protective. They're very accepting of a multicultural and multiraced society - half of America is nothing like that, with a big of red-necked of red-necked Trump supporters. Canadians probably look across the border and think "wow! What a mess!" and automatically put up a defence.

Im sorry but if Belgium had 30k cases a day and there was a swarm of them trying to get to France Id be pissed off too and yes Id want them out and to follow their frontiers. Their president preaches about people from south america always crossing the border but says nothing about this. To be fair, I doubt the racist anti-immigration ones are the ones going to Canada right now. They likely can’t afford to get there and wouldn’t want to go to a “socialist” country anyway

Hamilton is known as the armpit of Ontario

 

It's all white trash, lots of drugs, crime and half the city looks like it's falling apart. And to add a little flavour the roads are full of cracks and potholes and in need of serious repairs

 

My best friend used to live there. I really don't like that city

 

Toronto is bomb tho if u know where to go . For partying and night life tho Montreal is the best

Of course not  But just tryna put myself in Canadians' shoes, yes Id be pissed if any neighbor country with high cases of covid and who do not take it seriously swarmed the country, it would be annoying. I understand the frustration
