Canadians in parts of Canada are increasingly unhappy with Americans who try to sneak across the border amid Covid-19 quarantines and high USA cases that threaten to bring more cases to Canada

 

Many Canadians are actively snitching to authorities. In some cases cars with American license plates have been vandalized

A lot of Canadians already have had an attitude of superiority over Americans for a long time. Trump kinda increased that and now with Covid handling a lot of ppl here in Canada just think if the US as a total joke

 

I'm not totally shocked there's isolated cases like this on the rise

I mean, Americans put people in cages and let them die if they illegally cross their border. So they should be lucky the only thing being done to them is vehicle vandalization.

Also u can't be certain someone is there illegally by a license plate. Someone could be here longer term (since before border closures) or someone could have a valid reason to cross border cuz in some cases ppl are granted passage such as people with dual citizenship for example. I also know a Canadian that recently married an American so they too were allowed to return

 

So even if it was justifiable to vandalize ppl breaking the rules (it's not), u can't even be certain by a license plate alone

Honestly how the laws and hypocrisy is here. Most of us Americans think this country is a joke too. I just hope this does not turn into a war or a massacre.
