People hating on BloodPop because he "changed" the sound of Chromatica because he changed Gaga's ideas. Since when is it bad to change your ideas in order to finish a project, it's always about new ideas, y'all are making no sense and have PROBLEMS.

I’ve said for months. Chromatica is a Bloodpop album with Gaga in it tbh.

Why does Bloodpop sound 10-20 years older than what I first imagined? :laughga:

I'm so so so glad Gaga doesn't interact with us anymore. She'd be in a much worse place if she did. Specially the ones on Twitter. Fvcking toxic pieces of sh!t

Yeah, fans is everything for her in BTW era. I hope she detached herself of validation that comes from her fans, and instead more validation that sourced from her music and her goodwill efforts to the world. Because frankly, humanity is at worst and messy this time in 2020 in this social media era.

It truly felt like I was just hanging with some cool friends, either just before or after a night out clubbing. I miss the old days :messga:

This.

What more does she have to say beyond "I wanted to kill myself" before some people back the fvck off?

Depression sadly doesn't just get bored with you and stop showing up. She's always going to struggle, she's sadly probably going to feel this way again. But she seems now to have good people to support her and she's learned that social media isn't good for her. Yeah it means we probably won't get the personal stuff she used to share, but if it protects her mental health and keeps her with us for many more years then hell, I'm all for it.

Not LMs talking about the DJ mix and the lack of new music, while Gaga talks about her depression, how hard it was for her to make the album, and how she even has had suicidal thoughts. Like, do y’all even care for her as a person or just as a music making machine? :awkney:

I wonder if she should just retire if she can't handle the fame anymore? :oprah:

the thing is...she's become so huge that even if she were to retire fans would still bother her for at least another 20 years (enough time for most of the base to age and not care anymore). Because of that it would be futile...she just has to continue balancing fame with her love of performing and releasing music. Like some ppl said...not interacting with fans online may be a good thing for her psyche. She should try the Beyonce route I guess. Bey is so distant from fans and "fame" on her day to day life and is hardly ever seen. She only shows up when it is time to share her art with the world and it is on her conditions and rules. I think something like that may be what Gaga needs. Right now she's in this weird limbo of wanting to be relatable and exisiting in the real world with everyday people but not wanting the attention that comes with that...idk.

- For Gaga finishing the album was a mental emotional release: "I love you and goodbye, I want you to never come back into me" (referring to the mental state she was in, all the pain she wrote away).

- BP put a lot of art on the wall for Gaga, to see if she saw Chromatica the same way he did.
Gaga said that in the beginning she was just "making music in the dark". The lyrics and sound came first, but the vision and the concept of Chromatica didn't come until much later, at that exact moment. Gaga compares it to going from no colour to all of the colours.

These parts kinda concerned me on how she will perform the particular songs in future, if it will just strike hard into the memory and experiences of suicidal thoughts and depression. I mean, will she be strong enough? Or will she put it into theatrics when she performed it. I mean, I just wish the best for her.
