It is to me because of the powerful synths through the song that are like signature Gaga, specially in the chorus, and the melody and drums reminded me of Taylor for some reason, I also remember a Variety review saying the same thing I said, it has Taylor vibes.

look at the Hot 100 over the last few years. this song is so fundamentally out of step with what's been popular in the United States recently, idk why fans keep saying "radio single potential." streaming power is the name of the game, "radio friendly" is so friggin irrelevant now. the dominance of rap music has singlehandedly made "radio friendly" a non-issue.

(and honestly i think that's a good thing – charts should reflect what people are actually choosing to play, not passive listening)

Like, maybe in 2010 this could've worked, but this song just reeks of late-aughts pop. would NOT be a good single choice.

I'm saying that because, well, there's nothing on the albun that is made to be a hit. ROM is the closest because of Ariana but sonically it just sounds dated for today's hit standards, but out of all the songs on the album, PD is the only one on the album (with Babylon) that doesn't have the 4 on the floor beat and actually fluctuates. I don't see any other song being a single except for Free Woman, which is easy to digest but it screams dated all over it, tho I love the song I doubt it could become a single. There are a few pop singles on the charts being succesful, take Dua as an example, but I'm aware that Dua has a lot of factors that help her: She's young, pretty, has sex appeal, constantly updates her social media with aesthetically pleasing pics and outfits which is a key factor of you want younger generations on your side. 

Chromatica doesn't have more songs to milk as singles and it most likely already reached its peak but if there's a 3rd single I'd go for FW and PD, but harder for the latest as it has more soul.

Not my first choice for a single but she could really serve the GP with something like this.  A post-modern, Aqua "Barbie Girl"

oh i absolutely agree. i personally don't think there should be a 3rd single cuz i agree, there aren't any other guaranteed hits on the album – i think the closest would be Sour Candy purely because of the blackpink stans, but even that's uncertain.

i'd rather her just close the era here – #1 album, #1 single, 2 new top 10s, 9 VMA noms and likely 1 or 2 nods at the Grammys –  than muck it up with a single that could potentially flop as bad as G.U.Y.

It literally doesn't? The vocal delivery specially in the chorus screams Gaga, same with the bridge, just imagine that in a stadium. Not the mention, the hard punching beat, the synths, the "oh la las"
