When I was playing with my sister's Barbies, they were only talking about hair and surfing and convertibles and KEN KEN KEN.

It never occurred to me she would be like that.

That reminds me that part of my life used to be hiding the Barbie's that I had given a bit too much of a haircut to so my sister wouldn't be mad at me.

I personally believe 9 year olds shouldn't get in touch with the darkness of this world yet with Barbie telling them how awful it is out there or how she's struggling with being happy etc. As a kid you gotta keep things joyful and fun
