I love the new song and definitely see the Bowie inspo. I'm excited for the rest of the album and hope it leans more toward the single and not God's Gonna Cut You Down.

This just sealed the deal for some reason. I have been struggling with being a long time fan. I won't give the new album one listen. I actually stopped being a fan for awhile when he released the terrible video Running To The Edge Of The World. I was highly disappointed that he would make a video depicting such violence and call it "just art". Now is even worse. He also made jokes in the past about "surprise sex" that I thought was also insulting. He laughs and jokes about the AIDS virus too and I always thought that was revolting.

The violet wand that Evan Rachel Wood has mentioned, he proves that he owns one, not randomly.

It's just proven too much to deny any longer. I don't want to support a person capable of this garbage and even all of the other rumored stuff that may turn out to be true. I hold myself accountable these days. Also, Evan Rachel Wood has talked about during her abuse, her abuser would not let her dress as she wanted to and pointedly said that she could absolutely NOT wear blue jeans and that she missed wearing them and loves to wear jeans now and that right there admits that he is her abuser, because every lifelong fan of Marilyn Manson knows that he has always and often said since his beginning of his career, that he does NOT wear or like jeans, it's an absolute NO for him, so there is another truth, if you are paying attention to Evan Rachel Wood's words and clues. SMH. For shame.

It actually makes me sick to my stomach reading what he did to her. I used to really respect Manson, I thought he was smart but this is irredeemable for me. I believe her 100%

Yes, same. I am so terribly disappointed by him. I really admired him early on. A lot of fans react worse about the Twiggy / Jeordie situation, but I find these accusations by Evan much worse, also Twiggy has been sober for years and seems to have reformed his personality and has tried to grow and become a better person over time, not excusing him, but at least he has tried to rise above his old ways. Twiggy has admitted to being a shitty person in his past and has shame. Manson hasn't really even acknowledged any of this seriously, he acts like none of this will stick to him. I just expected more and better of him. He seems far from who he used to be, to me at least.

Manson also did not even try or even pretend to have Twiggy's back for a second, like he did so quickly for Johnny Depp. So he is not even a loyal friend, it seems. I just thought he would do more, be a better person than he has proven. He fired Twiggy immediately to make the bad press go away, probably because he knew that his own dirty laundry might come next, as it did. But, again, it hasn't really stuck to him so much. I guess we are about to see if it actually has, as he is releasing a new album soon and will get press.

This album is so different. I love RED BLACK AND BLUE. His voice in PAINT YOU WITH MY LOVE.  I can't wait to listen to the other tracks. 

Edit: It wasn‘t RED BLACK AND BLUE that I loved, it‘s DON‘T CHASE THE DEAD.
