Who the hell writes about jet lag??? YOU KNOW IT, RINA :ohwell:

Here she talks about being away from a place she misses very much (Japan, I think. I know girl, I miss it too, even though I never went there!). It's the feeling of missing something or someone that you can't actually just get up and go to see. There's a lot of implications in the way, like 5.938 miles between the two things... idk :trollga: It's funny because it's one of my highest ranked songs on the album but I don't have a lot to say about it. @_@ (given score: 9)

It seems like I hate the album, but I really didn't want to give everything 8 and higher so I tried to give more varied scores :laughga:

For real? Now I love her even more! JRPGs Kween :diane:

I catched one of her livestream where she went track by track, explaining lyrics, production and the chat was asking about it and she confirmed the reference.

That the song on #6 isn't Top 3 is a crime against humanity :excuseu: .

@JINNOCIDE Another amazing track (I'm gonna say this a looooooooooot), but by personal preference it's not one of my favorites. It's a hard hitting song with metal influences that speak about people's preconceived notions about her.

I remember her saying that she chose this song to be the first single to throw people off and it works perfectly. It's one of the most different songs genre-wise in the album. It works really well, but the hardness of it makes me skip it sometimes if I want something lighter or not put into replay mode. (given score: 8)

@Sestri Levante I swear I'm not trolling, these three songs are absolutely mind blowing. I love the nu metal influence and how quick they shift from that to 90s pop :nooo: (given score: 10)

Sooooo, girls and gheys, we reached Top 5 territory :legend: !

For the ones being late or having a short mind, here are #13 to #6:

#13 F*ck This World

#12 Love Me 4 Me

#11 Chosen Family

#10 Snakeskin

#9 Paradisin'

#8 Comme Des Garçons (Like The Boys)

#7 Akasaka Sad

#6 STFU!

That leaves the following songs for Top 5 ( in tracklist order):

Dynasty, XS, Bad Friend, Who's Gonna Save You Now, Tokyo Love Hotel

Which two songs lose so close before Top 3? Which one will take the crown? Leave your predictions below

@JINNOCIDE Wtf. It's about how sadness and depression have been passed on her from her parents from their immigrant experience and Rina, much like her parents, still doesn't feel at home anywhere, nor at peace with her identity. I mean ok it's pop music but Rina's lyrics are multi-layered.

5. Dynasty

Lowest score: 5 - @BillieGOAT

Highest score: 11 - @JINNOCIDE, @ShesAMess

@JINNOCIDE Amazing opening to the album. My absolute favorite. The detail when she says "catch me before I fall" then the sounds goes as if someone's falling... ugh her mind

The lyrics are excellent also. All the talk about traditional Japanese families. The bridge strikes me hard.... "mother and father you gave me life, I nearly gave it away for the sake of my sanity"/"mother and father I know you were raised differently", "now it's my time to make things right, and if I fail then I'm a dynasty"

Like... wow. Who thinks of that? The whole subject of inconsistent life with your parents is described nicely here, with her trying to break away from her family's format, and she knows that if she fails, then she'll end up just as then. PERFECTION (given score: 11)

@Sestri Levante I swear I'm not trolling, these three songs are absolutely mind blowing. I love the nu metal influence and how quick they shift from that to 90s pop :nooo:  (given score: 10)
