She’s created things since she was very very young.  I believe many artists, especially those who become mainstream and commercialized, reach and point and age where they are no longer inspired or have the same creative drive they once had.  Most pop artists do not create songs/ideas on their own.  It takes a team effort and previously existing songs and ideas written by other songwriters.  That’s just the way it is .  Most nobody on the radio writes their own music. Beyonce, dua, Katy, ari, Justin, The Weeknd, . And they especially do not write on their own.   They may be listed first in the writing credits, but take that with a heavy grain of salt.  I think ARTPOP was the last genuine project BIRTHED by Gaga, when it comes to lyrics at least.

I agree.  It doesn’t fit, especially the first act.  I think it sounds like more of a closer/ towards end of the album kind of song.

I think it's related to the fact that she had multiple studio sessions back then and there wasn't a strong distinction between the songs intended for the movie and for the next album. I actually think that's pretty common with a lot of artists.
