I really hope you're kidding Aside from the fact we just came out of a 7 year ballad fest, that 'genre' is just so sickeningly boring. That MR/INLA type of pop ballad is just so bland, they're 'timeless' because they're so void of any sense of flavour, style and uniqueness. No thank you! I love Chromatica but most topics on the album are about these issues, which is normal.Babylon and Sine from Above are probably the only exceptions However, I would love BTW/AP type of an album (concept wise) where she actually got inspired from the people and experiences around (travelling, other professionals). I'll eat up any genre she puts out because I love her, but I want a record from her that is.. different. Anyhow, Chromatica isn't over so this threads just a tad preliminary. I want the effort and passion which she seems to have kinda lost (exception being the ROM video). I want her to remain healthy too so that she doesn't need to seem like she is suffering everytime she makes a public appearance. I want her confidence back without the pain. Odesza’s signature production needs either light, airy, ethereal vocals, or they heavily distort and/or chop them. Not that they can’t do any other sound, but it just kind of falls short when they branch out to other styles I’d love to see Alison Wonderland for it. Just from The Fame to Chromatica, her vocals are vastly different. I'd be curious to see if she could try something new to see if it could fit. But Rezz. Yes.
