Okay so i'm looking into it more, and from what I HEARD (which may not be correct at all, I am not from the Balkans) but Kosovo is 95% Albanian Muslim, and Serbia is mostly orthodox, and when they tried for independence Serbia went in and waged Ethnic cleansing? so I feel like they have a good case for independence overall, AGAIN, I do not know much about this so correct me please.

Yes it's true, but there's a story behind it all, and loong history. But the thing that you should know is that Serbs are always portrayed as monsters and the ones causing mess. I am Croatian, Serbs HAVE done crimes against my country, but we need to realize that there were multiple crimes commited against Serbians on Kosovo. Th armed forces of Kosovo  also killed and raped serbian civillians, and destroyed a LOT of serbian orthodox churches. These churches were built before albanian settlement on Kosovo. Also, the government in Yugoslavia did everything they could to make it harder for Serbs living in Kosovo during Yugoslavia, to prevent ethnic Albanians on Kosovo to riot, but they eventually rioted.

So as you can see, there are multiple sides to it, both are way too complex for a low educated popstar to come in the middle of it

Genuine question. Why did she even post about this in the first place? It felt like it just came out of nowhere. Is this issue currently big in Albania atm?

It's not, it's not even daily relevant in Serbia anymore. Dua has just been posting since forever, and especially lately, promoting Kosovo which Serbs didn't approve of, but most just shrugged their shoulders and move on. This though, affects more countries than just Serbia

I had no idea she's been posting about this for a long time now. I thought she just started yesterday that's why I thought it was very random.  And didn't she spend most of her life in London anyway?

OT: I'll never understand why Serbs care so much if Kosovo is their own country or not. If a part of Croatia wanted to be a seperate country, I literally wouldn't spend a second thinking about it.

I agree and I even wouldn't mind my region Dalmatia becoming it's own country sksksks

But, this particular situation, isn't just about Kosovo, how come you don't get it

Vučić im godinama truje mozak pitanjem o Kosovu ne bi li skrenuo pažnju s drugih problema i omogućio si još veću moć... Svejedno, ne shvaćam što i dalje imaju komplekse da svojataju cijeli Balkan - mi smo im pokatoličeni Srbi, Bošnjaci su turski Srbi (a Srbija bila turski pašaluk hahaha), Makedonci i Crnogorci južni Srbi... Dok ne sazriju u tom smislu, neće ni napredovati, nije ni čudo da su na ekonomskom i društvenom začelju Europe lol

Albanians are not Turkish people. They are people who lived there long before and only changed their religion when Ottomans came to Balkan. Claiming they are Turkish people who came to Balkan 500 years ago is nonsense.

As for Kosovo huge majority of people who live on Kosovo claim Serbia is not their country and that their country is Kosovo. And their opinion is the only one that matters. 

I don’t know why you mentioned Bosnia but same goes for Bosnia. Bosniaks are HUGE majority in Bosnia and they lived there for thousands of years and only changed their religion when Ottomans came. They were Bogomils before. People who identify as Bosniaks make huge majority of 50%, Serbs less than 30% and Croats less then 15% yet they somehow want to claim it as their own which is nonsense.
