BlackCrown 1,794
I think people are just bored by SL because it has been released months ago, but it didn't deserve to go at the very beginning My crown is black, like the soul of fame

The chorus is among the most powerful choruses on the album. It’s such a great break from the 90s sound that’s filled throughout the album. The lyrics discuss Gaga being manipulated by men and the industry, and how it’s hurt her. 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀𝗴𝘂𝘆 - Chorus are really powerful, the rest of the song... Not so much... 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗚𝘂𝗿𝗹𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲 - not my type 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 - Another one that takes a while to grow. I don't like the stuttering vocals at all at the beginning - it dates the song right off the bat. The subject is something Gaga has touched on before, so does feel a little superfluous to include in Chromatica. Great chorus though! 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗶𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗘 6 - It's slowly starting to grow on me. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘆𝗸 - When she says “Who's that girl, Malibu Gaga? Looks so sad, what is this saga?” I feel it too 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀 - By far the biggest grower for me on the album. Every single time I listen I love it more and more. It’s amazing and you can just hear her pain. The chorus is explosive and that CRY AFTER THE BRIDGE OMG Yes girl 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆𝗚𝗮 - my second favourite. it’s FLAWLESS OMG like the chorus is so good 😫 malibu gaga is iconic 𝗞𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 - Would be a 7 if it wasn’t my least favorite off the album. Great song, it’s just that compared to the others, it falls a bit under the radar for me. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 - Such a grower! Shouldn't been the lead ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 𝗕𝗷𝗮𝗳 - It's true that lyrics wise this might not be her best, but people are definitely being too harsh on this song. It's obviously ironic, in the same way that most songs on The Fame were. The melody in the chorus is so catchy! Kind of unfortunate that this is one of the longer tracks on the album though. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗣 - Used to be my least fave but not I love it 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 - Very Carly Rae Jepsen - literally any cute pop act could sing it, I still like it tho 𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗬𝗟𝗢𝗡 - I am SICK of the Plastic Doll slander! This song is solid, with a great message and again, a bunch of ear worms! The oh la la's, the robotic "your plastic doll" after she says that line are a few to name. It's message is incredible because she is expressing how she feels being in the spotlight constantly. I actually think it's funny how many stans have switched on this song now that the SOPHIE producing rumor was confirmed false. 𝗖𝗷𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗻 - Another grower but this one really hits me in the feels now. 𝗕𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮 - I love this. Great lyrics, clean production, so fun! I see a lot of speculation on who it's about and think that it pretty much extends out to anyone ever who's looked at her an objectified her, or ever tried to tell her how she looks or dresses. So it could be about almost anybody. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮 - Maybe my least favorite one. Even if it still a strong track on the album. The message and the production works good together. I don't know why it reminds me a bit of Bad Kids. 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗞1991 - A grower, this one has some fun hooks with the IEIEIEI technologic and oh lalala, which her vocals are angelic. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 - I'm ieieieieieieie- 𝗬𝘅𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻 - Why so much hate? It's not among my faves, but I can't see why it gets so much backlash. Lyrically it's the most metaphoric, less straightforward track on Chromatica, maybe that's why the GP didn't love it either. The groove is interesting and reminds me of Monster, which had an amazing percussion section. The bridge is very good too, even though the transition between it and the last chorus lacks fluidity. 𝗠 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲 - A lot of people think PD is a skip, but I don't think so. The melody of this song is so catchy—there are so many earworms on this record! I like the analogy of the plastic doll; it feels like something Gaga would've done during TFM or BTW. My favorite part of this song, like SL, is the pre-chorus. 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝘆 - @cautiouslurker and I have gone back and forth for hours about this song, I've been said the song is a grower but the truth is... It isn't. The more I listen to it, the more I hate the song. To me the song is the equivalent to Stupid Girls by P!nk. Both are brash in nature, have unpleasing melodies in the verses and a slightly more tolerable chorus but in the end aren't good songs. It could've been easily cut from the album and not ruin the flow. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻 - I don't understand the hate for this song. There are so much going on with this song, beautifully produced with a FameGa theme. 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗬𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 - Excellent 2𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹4𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹 - The bridge is a highlight of the album for me! 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗔𝘀𝘁 - I think its about Troy and her management. How hurt and used she was and still is. And I love the verse of this song how she sounds. Bridge is really personal and good. 𝗥𝘂𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗖𝗡𝗚 - Underrated bop. The bridge is awesome and totally unique 𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗼𝗳𝗰𝘆 - Okay the lyrics in this song are so predictable. First time hearing it i could already finish some lyrics before she sang them. The bridge however redeems the weaker verses and the chorus. Overall it's giving me just a little too much pop Ally. 𝗡𝗼𝗶𝗿 - My least favourite track on the album. I like the intro but the story is empty and overdone. Gaga deserves better. 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗟𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 - I have a plastic doll - it's molded after Ken Ryker's member... my plastic doll hurts me 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲 - HMMMMM i like when she says "technology" in the intro and the bridge is super cool. the rest of the song is just OK. 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗧𝘄𝘂𝗻𝗸 - With Skrillex's dirty oily fingerprints all over this track and odd unrelatable lyrics it is a skip. No, you're not my type. Barbie called and demanded her song back. Oh my Malibu Gaga...This is a tragic saga 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲 - Sounds like a song old Poppy would put out and the lyrics cannot save it. 𝗖𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗸 - The weakest song on the album, bridge saves it a bit 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 - AM I E I E I E I E I E I PL- PLASTIC. Bop. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 - It sounds like something a 14 year old girl would write in her diary. Very shallow.mp3 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗛𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 - Nice pop song, just a steady 8, it's a good song, but no stand-out of course. 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱 - ...And then she ruined it, as always, wow this is horrible. 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲 - Is it me or it's kinda sound disney-ish? But I get it, they would want to sound like doll songs. 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶 - The lyrics behind this song a little generic, although Gaga puts in some special weirdness. That chorus and bridge are so iconic. What would normally be a filler space on the album is amazing here. 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗶 - A old school Gaga song. I’m absolutely in love with it and it’s one of my favs on the album. I love the message behind it. I love her voice in the chorus. I love the “Oh lala” parts. And the bridge? Holy sh*t, I lose it every time she sings “Malibu Gaga”. Well, this song is fantastic. An underrated BOP. I said what I said. 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗼 - Ahh I love this one too. I love the Joanne references too. I think this should have been the lead to be honest. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 - Didn't love it at first listen. It grew on me, tho! 𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗿𝘂 - My least played track, says enough 𝘃𝗲𝗲𝗲𝗻08 - Basic song. But the hooks and the autotune works. 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗘𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘀 - This is underrated. Lyrically it's not my absolute fave but some of y'all clearly jumped on the hate bandwagon early because the more I listen the more it sounds like classic Gaga and it's really good. I don't really get why people are so mean to the Plastic Doll but leave her alone okay thanks xoxoxo. 𝗟𝗼𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗸𝗲 - This was originally my least favorite song from the album, and it has now elevated to being a 10/10. The lyrics are camp, and that chorus is so powerful. The people who still hate it probably need to clean their ears out. 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 - criminally underrated. CRIMINALLY. it’s in her top 10 songs. 𝗢𝗚 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻 - The extended metaphor wears thin about halfway through, the lyrics are very cheesy, but the melody is great. 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 - It's a fun song but deep inside if you pay attention to it 𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘁 - I understand the lyrics are satirical and supposed to be cheesy. But it’s so basic to me. The chorus is strong tho 𝗛𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗢𝗳𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘄 - A track that I slowly but surely fell in love with. 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 - Didn't like it at first and it grew on me so much, it's an amazing song, that chorus hits me. I'd love to get a longer video like the one Skrillex shared on Twitter, it would slay. 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 - SO UNDERRATED WTF, best song on the album, the bridge is iconic UGHS:JHFSJJKKJSA 𝘀𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗾 - will not stand for plastic doll slander. love how smooth and sweet she sounds leading to the chorus before letting loose. that weird "oh" in the bridge is not it though. 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 - A very fresh song in the middle of the album 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘁 - My #12 via BiasSorter The only part of the song I really like is the bridge, it's so sweet (WHO'S THAT GIRL MALIBU GA-GA, idk this verse always makes me smile). The song sounds regresful, like it belongs to The Fame, but I don't mean it in a good way 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶 - I don't like the intro & outro effect. But I love the verses and bridge a ton! The chorus was also the one chorus that stuck to me the most on first listen, maybe because it's so jarring (in a good way)? Underrated song and doesn't deserve to be so low on most fan's lists. 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘇 - Very underrated 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 - Classic Gaga synthpop bop that reminds me of The Fame. Also the message is amazing. 𝗝𝗚𝗗 - It's a nice song, don't understand the dislike for it though 𝗜𝗺𝗻𝗼𝘁𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗲10 - Sad to say that this song has fallen on my favorites. It was in my top Chromatica songs when I first listened (and I knew others didn't like it at all from the start and couldn't figure out why). The commentary and analogy is perfect about consumerism and body image. The chorus is great! I don't skip the song but something about it "faded" for me. 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 - This song is just... missing something. Not sure what. The bridge is epic though. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗶 - I’ve already liked this song since the release and it’s keeping on growing on me even more. A The Fame-ish in a waaay better done. 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 - It's not bad but after 911, it feels like a weak continuation. 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 - Nice song, very Gaga bridge, great vocals and good chorus. Not much bad or amazing about it. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗻 - FameGa is back even if the chorus sounds like something Katy Perry could sing (No shade intended, it brings us back to 2009 and the golden age of female popstars) Good production from Skrillex, the major grower on this album I think. 𝗽𝘂𝗴𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 - not my favourite, although it is catchy at parts 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗸𝗼𝗸𝗼 - A song that really grew on me. I like most of the lyrics, and the chorus is so fun. I wish the production was a little darker though. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 - I always get goosebumps when this song starts playing! This one gives me so much The Fame Monster vibes and I'm soo happy about it! It's like TFM in 2020. The production, the melody, the vocals.... everything about this song is perfect. LOOOOVE IT!! <3 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀 - not a fan of the lyrics, i really like the instrumental though. 𝗜𝘃𝘆 - Took a little bit to grow on me, but I like the weirdness and unlike some I love the bridge 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗺 𝗘𝗵 - Cute song but I find lyrics to be cringey 𝗢𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 - Great chorus and awesome instrumental production. Lyrics aren't the best on this one and the verses fa;l somewhat flat. The chorus slaps and I love the "Am i-e-i-e-i-e" robotic parts. One of the best bridges of the album but the verses should have been changed. So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

Megarate just started and I’m already f*cking over it.

They shipped it, but it got shipped back
