I more or less meant how that ties into some sort of alien world.

the "alien world" is the abstract VISUAL representation of her mental state.

emphasis on abstract. this whole album and concept is an abstraction for how she deals with the world, like Bable explained.

I feel like this will become more clear as we get more visuals, performances, music videos, etc.

I agree and understand your point, but I wish more fans could be respectful to Gaga and her team right now.

Also, as someone who is a janitor at a warehouse where someone died of Covid last week, it's getting so tiring hearing some LMs so focused on promo and getting so upset about what Gaga is aand isn't doing. Like I almost envy those fans, because I'm literally scared for my life every day at work.

I'm really happy to see this opinion shared like this, in a more understanding way that acknowledges it isn't that serious, and that it isn't Gaga's fault.. Because some fans have been making me so mad lately.

As for me, right now, listening to the album is enough. Because at least that can bring me some happiness and light. Chromatica has really been my happy place and positive place.

I agree with you 100%

Your comment really moved me, especially when you mentioned your job experience being affected by COVID. I hope you're doing fine

The way I see it is she delivered a really good pop album and one that we as fans weren’t too sure we’d ever get from her again. She can wait out this year like we all are, take time to focus on her personal life and comeback with a killer EP that’s a sequel to Chromatica with the full vision. :yennefer:

The more important things in life tend to take precedence. Don’t hinge your actual happiness on the commercial recognition of an album. Music is important, yes, but everything else that comes with it is just fluff. Life is too short to look at things in such a narrow light and only allow yourself to be happy if things happen a certain way.

In my opinion, everything happens for a reason. I can see this era being extended for a another year or two.

The only I’m upset at Rona about is the secret Coachella set we deserved. :bradley:

I understand what you mean. I'm sad Chromatica isn't getting its chance to shine in the spotlight. Yet in some ways I'm glad. In a weird way, the fact is hasnt been promoted to the heavens and back makes it feel more intimate to me. I've never felt this connect to a Gaga album, I thought I was connect to Joanne, but not as attached as I am to Chromatica. I don't know if any of that makes sense.
