Stupid Love from a technical perspective is a bad music video. That's not an opinion. Going from being THE visual artist of music videos to SL is a tragedy. It's like she doesn't care anymore and I felt like it started with the equally bad TEOG music video.

When you criticize the main topic (Gaga) of a forum, maybe try to be as objective and constructive as possible. I agree with some of what you're saying, but for example:

"The fact is Gaga just does not care about the quality of her output as much as she used to."

You're putting this forward as a fact, and it's not. It's more of an unfounded opinion (and an opinion that is rebutted by the ROM music video and all of her original grand plans for Chromatica). It is more likely that she is less focused on entertainment, and more focused on humanity right now.

Just saying, a bold fallacious opinion comes off as unnecessary whining. And many of us are tired of it.

Your statement is instantly becomes invalidated considering AFTER TEOG came MTN and Applause. 

And it doesn't matter if something "technically" isn't up to your expectations. All that matters is that people enjoyed it. And people did and still do. 

Perhaps she is simply not the artist you care for anymore. If so, easier to just enjoy her older work and move on to someone else. 

Allow fans to enjoy what she does now, versus getting upset over the way she was NINE years ago.

That also works the other way around, though. Just because someone is in the public eye doesn't mean that they should be subjected to MORE criticism than the average person. 

I understand that practically, that's just impossible, but theoretically, why should Gaga, or any other celebrity, be subjected to more criticism than you or me? At the end of the day, it's her career, and she decides what she wants to do with it. Yes, having people support you is amazing (both emotionally and—let's be real—financially speaking), but also, that doesn't mean that she should suffer more criticism than anyone else.

That's literally a huge portion of her Zane Lowe interview. She talks about being objectified by the public: she doesn't fear people, she fears the public. I think sometimes we have to cognizant of that and understand that she's human as well.

Because people are more comfortable not having a proper opinion. And we can. The fact is that not everyone is ready to have a critical point of view for her work. 
It’s the difference between being a fan or a stan. 
What are you? Someone who uses brain or someone who let the others tell what to think about a global pop star?

“Stupid Love seems uninspired to me, I prefer her other music videos” is a lot different than “Stupid Love sucks. What happened to the old lady Gaga? From 10 years ago, when she actually cared about her career? I’d rather have nothing if it means we keep getting this low budget ****”  And trust me, I’ve seen people express their opinions like the last example. The tea is that Gaga isn’t the same artist she was 10 years ago, everyone is open to change. You can have an opinion on her art without tearing her down.

Well, that last statement is again...subjective. I personally really like TEOG's video.

As for the technical aspects, I think that the only "technical" thing you can objectively criticize is the cinematography. I think that the cinematography wasn't great, and I think that shows, but everything else about the video is subjective. 

The costumes? You can like them or hate them. That's not objective.
The location? You can like it or hate it. That's not objective.
The choreo? You can like it or hate it. That's not objective.
The make-up? You can like it or hate it. That's not objective. 

You not liking the video is subjective. That is not fact, and it never will be. Facts are inarguable.

That is valid, and I agree that any criticism should be constructive. However, most people here do not want to hear any criticism at all, as opposed to hearing the critique and discussing why it is valid or not. 

She should not be subjected to MORE criticism than others, but doesn't it make sense that it is us who criticize her more, since we are more interested in what she does than anyone else?

I feel like many people mistake criticism for hate here. 

Opinions make people, it's awkward for me how some monsters just gulp down anything she does without even a slight analysis. I never hate something she does, I sometimes enjoy something less, or don't enjoy it at all, but I can explain why. Gaga's my idol, but before that, she's also a human, and sometimes does mistakes, or songs that won't be as attractive as others, which is totally understandable - she's done a lot of masterpieces, which cast a long shadow on a few of her songs

This. Then they’ll go onto another thread about another artist and just straight up drag them. But actually it’s their “opinion”. They’ll also attack you and tell you what’s happening in Gaga’s personal life as if they’re sitting right beside her while posting.

There is more than just 'cinematography' to technicality sweetie... I'm not arguing against the subjectivity of taste. However, many people were underwhelmed by the music video and that's reasonable to expect considering the quality of her early music videos. The fact that she approved the music video despite its technical faults disappoints me.
